Managing Director, Computer Systems Company, France
A company with a strong European presence in the Computer Systems market required a new country manager in France. Company policy allowed Headhunting recruitment to be conducted by 'contingency' only. Three global Headhunting consultancies were asked to participate in the project and MSC agreed to work on a contingency basis.
MSC provided three suitable candidates for evaluation by the client, who interviewed eight candidates in total from all three agencies. The client requested that a total of three were to be brought back for final interview of which two were provided by MSC. The client eventually selected the preferred candidate from the shortlist - an MSC candidate.
Eight-weeks after commission, MSC had filled the vacancy and were called by the client who offered MSC a contract to provide senior staff on a 'retained' basis. The decison was made due to the additional value provided by MSC in its position of being the leading emergent technology specialist agency in their field.
Client Statement
"Like with most things in life you get what you pay for. MSC delivered a standard of service that they were impressed with. We've certainly seen the light and understand why our competitors prefer one specialist company to deliver its needs. The partnership approach is paramount in securing staff who 'fit' within the organistion, rather than simply meet the credentials needed for the role."
